Thank you for visiting the official TAMAYA website.
I have loved bonsai and gardening since childhood. I began practicing floral arrangement at fifteen and started working in a flower shop at eighteen. Along the way, I explored various jobs, but looking back, the majority of my life has been spent in the company of flowers.
Through living alongside flowers, I learned to see the true essence of things. I experienced the beauty and fragility of life, the preciousness of every encounter, and the fleeting nature of time. These realizations have become vital nourishment for my life.
When I was twenty-eight, I visited Taiwan for the first time for work. I was deeply captivated by the thoughtfulness, warmth, and cheerfulness of the Taiwanese people, as well as the natural, relaxing sense of familiarity here. Having traveled to many countries, no other place has made me want to return time and time again quite like Taiwan. It was then that I realized just how much I love this country.
I gradually began to wonder if there was something I could do for Taiwan in my own way—if I could become a small bridge connecting Japan and Taiwan. So, I left my stable job as a civil servant, chose to relocate to Taiwan, and founded TAMAYA.
In the early days of starting the business—unfamiliar with the environment, lacking capital, connections, and the ability to speak Chinese—it was the unwavering support and help of many Taiwanese friends that brought us to where we are today: a thriving flower shop with a wonderful team. I want to sincerely say to everyone who has supported TAMAYA: Thank you.
Looking ahead, beyond our original intention to be "Taiwan's most welcoming flower shop," we also aim to continuously cultivate a secure, reassuring work environment for our employees, while providing every customer with the most heartfelt floral arrangements and service.
We hope you will join us in witnessing TAMAYA's continued growth.

─ Becoming Taiwan's Most Welcoming Flower Shop 💐
We believe that being "welcoming" means more than just beautiful flowers, fair prices, or fast delivery. True hospitality is about putting ourselves in the customer's shoes to select the most perfect floral gift.
Flowers are different from standard products; no two flowers in the world are exactly alike. We carefully design and prepare the most suitable and thoughtful gifts for each customer, taking into account seasonal blooms, budgets, and specific needs.
We always strive to respond promptly to customer inquiries or special requests and communicate with care. This has always been our unwavering commitment.
─ Fostering Character and Creating a Secure Workplace 🌱
The floral industry may appear romantic, but it is often accompanied by low wages and highly labor-intensive environments. I believe that if our employees cannot feel happy, it is impossible for them to bring true happiness to our customers.
Therefore, I want to break this norm. I want every team member to work with peace of mind and enjoy a stable life while working alongside flowers. Through our work at the shop, we nurture a sense of responsibility and empathy, allowing every employee to continuously grow both personally and professionally.
─ A Flower Shop That Brings Happiness to Everyone 💖
We value communication with our customers and team members, ensuring that needs are met and relationships grow stronger. At the same time, we do not limit ourselves to just being a flower shop. Through community involvement, Japan-Taiwan cultural exchange, and floral education for children, we hope to continuously give back to society—becoming a flower shop that is gentle to both people and the land.
